VR Car Simulation (2021)

As part of the Virtual Reality and Augmented Reality module, I had to create a VR experience in Unity that provided the user a sense of realism. We were provided a set of models and animations to use and taught a system of how to make these models move between locations, then told to expand upon this ourselves to provide a more immersive experience.
I made the addition of allowing the cars and pedestrians to detect the obstacles in front of them, preventing any crashes or clipping through each others models from occurring. I also added in a working traffic light system, which caused the cars to stop and wait at them, along with minor aesthetic changes to the buildings layout and variety of car colours. With the current Covid 19 issues, I was unable to see my game with a university VR headset, but the mouse controls still show a realistic experience.
